Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Mar 15
Bright medium red. High-pitched aromas and flavors of raspberry, menthol, mint and crushed rock. Juicy and energetic for 2012 and perhaps already shutting down in the bottle. Almost painful on the back end today. This serious, firmly tannic village wine should be cellared at at least a few years.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
